Since 2002 we've supplied Capri marquees for weddings across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex. The modern Capri look is a long way from a traditional striped tent, and most couples choose it because it feels light inside and photographs well.
The marquees we put up
Our Capri marquees come in four sizes, from a 20 by 20 foot setup that seats about 20 through to a 28 by 58 foot one that seats 120 or more. For a wedding we often link two or more together, so the ceremony can sit in one section and the reception in the next, or you can cover an awkward L-shaped lawn. Every marquee comes with half-clear, half-solid side walls as standard. On a warm day we can open them up so the garden is part of the room, and if the weather turns we close them down and the reception carries on. We also supply flooring, a dance floor, lighting, tables, chairs and staging, and we'll go through the packages and prices with you so you know what your date comes to before you commit.
The practical side
Our own crew delivers, installs and collects every marquee, and we're usually in well before your guests arrive. Wedding marquees go up on flat grass, with no trees, bushes or hedges through the footprint. If a site is sloping or tight we'll flag it when we quote, the same as we do for weddings around Titchfield and Wickham in Hampshire and the country-house weddings in the Surrey Hills near Guildford and Dorking. We don't attach marquees to buildings, and we don't put them up in stormy weather.
